Stupid ants!
Mike has soundly chastised me for not posting. Sorry y'all. I am currently waging a war against ants in my kitchen. When I first bought this house in 2004 I had a lot of trouble with ants, so I started paying for a regular exterminator service that comes out every 3 months, and if I need them to come out special, I don't get charged. For the past few years I haven't had any ant problems. But, I think the drought has forced them to come into the house. So annoying. I love how 409 kills them. I just have to spray a little and they all die. And I'm cleaning the countertops at the same time! Windex works too, but not as fast. Anyways, I'll call the exterminator guy tomorrow and since Michael is on night shift this week he'll be able to meet them. That way I won't have to take time off work.
Uh, not much else going on. Michael and I had our 1 yr anniversary. We both have kayaks now. Yay! For the anniversary we went back down to San Antonio and had dinner at Bohanan's. It was still wonderful. And, I told our waiter that we were there for our anniversary and that we'd been before. When she brought out our appetizer (duck confit eggrolls which were amazing!) she also brought out a free appetizer! It was french grilled oysters. We both looked at each other and were like, uh great! thanks!. I'd had raw oysters in Virginia when my sister lived there. I gagged - couldn't let it just slide down my throat- so gross. But, these were breaded and grilled. So, I thought, hey, they were free, gotta try them. And they were AMAZING. If someone had just handed me one and said 'eat this' I would have no idea they were oysters. Not rubbery at all. Michael really enjoyed them too. It's always good to try new things (especially when they're free!)

Hey. Don't know if you check your comments on your blog or not, so I'm posting here since I know you read this. What TV shows do you want? What can you get in Japan? Didn't you mention you lost one of the Buffy tapes I sent you? Just let me know and I'll send you my original. I don't know why I'm keeping them since I have it all on DVD. Does your DVD player play DivX files? If so, let me know. That's an important question. I can hook you up with a ton of shows that Michael can download for me.
..side note ended.
Go to bed!
